Hear My Voice and friends are hosting a camping retreat for poets to connect with nature and create work. The intention of the retreat is to provide a conducive environment for creative construct, dialogue and collaboration. This retreat will take place at a secret location in Mpumalanga, away from the hustle and bustle of city soundscapes. Applications are open till the 20th of March and we encourage poets from accross the country to apply. Only 6 poets will be selected to be a part of this experiance at no cost.

Hear My Voice is a non-profit organisation based in Tshwane, South Africa, that, since 2016, has supported hundreds of spoken word artists through organising local and international exchange programs, workshops, live spoken word shows, open mics and other literature programs for schools, private companies, government, libraries, festivals and other cultural institutions. Currently, Hear My Voice is also accepting Mobility Fund applications.
